This artisan buttons were lovingly hand painted after they were hand formed from black clay. They feature many colours and have been finished with a canvas appearing texture. They are one of a kind buttons. They are made from a black clay from Canada. The buttons were fired in my kiln to a temperature of 2158F.  

The clay I use is fired to the stage of stoneware and they should not require removal during gentle washing.
