These buttons are made by hand from Canadian Black Clay or Porcelain (ivory white colour) and have been embossed with a Fleur-de-Lis design. They have been fired to stoneware hardness in my kiln and feel very smooth to the touch and are semi-matte in appearance. They are not affected by water or detergent. Please note that the natural colour of the clay is not true black but is the colour of very dark chocolate.

This button can also be made in porcelain clay (ivory white). Please indicate in the personalization if you would prefer the porcelain version of this button. If you do not indicate a preference, I will send you the black clay version.
