These 7 beautiful pottery buttons were made by hand from Canadian black clay. They have been embossed with a design, then a white glaze has been applied and is set against the natural black clay. They have been fired to stoneware hardness in my kiln. Each of these buttons is unique miniature piece of art and are available as individual buttons (scroll to see photos, A, B, C, D, E, R, S)

These buttons will add an artsy touch to a special project and would work well for a bag closure or on a coat or heavy sweater or as a feature button. They were hand formed from black clay in my studio and feel very smooth to the touch and are semi-matte in appearance. They are not affected by water or detergent.
