Terracotta Daisy Artisan Buttons

These rustic buttons are made by hand from an iron rich red clay and have deep red-brown terracotta colour. They were fired in my kiln to 'stoneware' hardness, which makes them harder than traditional low fire terracotta pottery.

The surface of these buttons is the natural clay (there is no glaze) and these buttons have a smooth feel in the hand and a matte appearance.
