Each of these buttons was formed by hand from Porcelain or Canadian black pottery. The white shown in the buttons is the natural colour of the porcelain clay and the dark buttons are the natural colour of the Canadian black clay. They have been fired in my kiln to 2250F (stoneware hardness and are quite a robust pottery button and would work well on a coat, sweater or as a purse or bag closure. They can be washed and are not affected by detergent.

NOTE: these buttons can also be made with different colour skulls such as red, blue, purple, green, orange, pink, harvest gold and many other colours. These unique buttons have been fired in my my kiln to a stoneware hardness and each button has a lovely smooth feel and slightly matte appearance.
